Prior to your wedding we will have a meeting (generally over the phone) in regards to the type of wedding you are having, run through all the details and introduce you to your wedding MC!

Your professional wedding MC has years of experiences and done hundreds of weddings. Your MC will have been communicating with you throughout the months/weeks prior to the wedding and turns up well dressed and on time.

Your MC will help you put together and plan your run sheet with you. They will also bounce ideas off you for time fillers i.e. games if required. After our MC has spoken to you, you should be confident in how the big day is going to unfold and even if things fall behind or something happens, be fully comfortable in the fact they can handle it with ease.

These are the occasions of the evening you feel are most important to you. Every wedding is different and as such our MC’s will treat them accordingly. While going through your run sheet with our MC they will ask you how you want certain events to go and give you ideas. They will also find out if you have any special requests and what’s most important, as wall as lots of other questions!

We have done hundreds of weddings and every weddings run sheet and schedule is unique. The MC’s job is to ensure all the major formalities are done perfectly and on time. If some of the speeches go over, its the MC’s job to coordinate and ensure everything else is on time. Our MC will have a perfect understanding of what’s important to you and ensure your wedding is amazing!

Professional DJ nightclub quality sound system. We generally use 1000 watt speakers with speaker stands. We speak to your venue or if its at your home we have the volume adjusted to regulations.

If you need a microphone please let us know! We will bring one for whatever you need at your request!

For crowds of 200+ some extra lighting is definitely required. We will bring more lighting to make sure everything is covered!

  • To make a booking all you need to do is fill out the below booking form.
  • If your event is quite a while away and you are still unsure of some of the details please just fill in what you can and we collect the rest of the information closer to the date.
  • DEPOSIT PAYMENT – You can pay a deposit through the invoice we send to you.  You can also pay via Internet banking, or with credit card.
  • FINAL PAYMENT – Balance of payment can be made prior to the event by the above methods.
  • Booking will only be confirmed when booking is paid in full

The MC is responsible for the atmosphere and the overall smooth running of your wedding reception. Some of the basic duties include: 

  • Facilitating your reception itinerary, so your event flows smoothly, and sticks to time. 
  • Being on hand to respond to any dilemmas, dramas or difficulties when things go astray and advise what to do next. 
  • Creating a fun atmosphere that can smooth over any awkward moment. 
  • Managing the bridal party, the introductions, making announcements, hosting the speeches and interacting with your wedding guests. 
  • Functioning as the conductor between you and your hired wedding vendors and entertainment. 
  • And most importantly, they are there to have your back so you can unwind from worry and have a kick-ass time with your family and friends.

You can vary the range of control you have, some guests provide us a list of every song they want played in order and at certain times, some guests just tell us the genre they want and to let the DJ feel the energy of the guests and play music accordingly. The most popular style by our clients is to give the DJ different genres to play throughout the evening and then some songs to be played at certain times for example right after speeches, during a speech, at the cake cutting, for the grand entrance/exit etc.

We do not insist that the DJ is provided a meal, but some food and non-alcoholic beverages would be much appreciated as the DJ is there for longer than your guests.

Yes, this is usually possible and the DJ will have an extension contract available. However, any extension will be at the given DJ’s discretion.
We love an extension request – we see it as the ultimate compliment!

Accepting the venue’s own ‘resident’ DJ, rather than choosing your own, may be the easiest option, but that doesn’t mean it’s the best!
If you do go with the DJ thrown in as part of the “package”, all too often what you receive is more “human jukebox”, and less professional DJ talent!
You won’t get any choice, and you certainly won’t get a specialist in your chosen genre who will work with you to craft a bespoke set to your brief, mixed to perfection. In summary, the music might well seem like an afterthought.
A venue may tell you that they prefer you to use their resident/preferred supplier, but very few will oblige you to. This is nearly unheard of: 9 times out of 10 you DO have the choice who you employ as your DJ.

We can hold a specific DJ for 24 hours without a deposit. Once your deposit is received, your chosen artist will be “off the market”.
If we do not receive your deposit in that timeframe, your preferred DJ will be made available again for other booking (unless we specifically agree otherwise in communications with you).

No, the five hours is play time only and set up and take down of the equipment will be done outside of the five hours and you are not charged for this.
