Prior to your event we will have a meeting (generally over the phone) in regards to the type of music you want played.
Your professional DJ with a minimum of 5 years experience. The DJ can play any kind of music from 50’s to today, even small specialised genres and music in other languages. Your DJ knows how to read a crowd and get people on the dance floor.
Professional DJ mixers and decks. With the mixers and decks our DJs will generally bring a laptop. The laptop provides our DJs with access to tens of thousands of songs at a click. All our equipment is industry standard with nightclub quality sound systems.
Professional DJ nightclub quality sound system. We generally use 1000 watt speakers with speaker stands. We speak to your venue or if its at your home we have the volume adjusted to regulations.
We provide an array of professional DJ lighting to make your event and dance floor look crazy! These include but are not limited to par cans, moving heads, strobes, LED effect lights etc etc
If you need a microphone please let us know! We will bring one for whatever you need at your request!

- To make a booking all you need to do is fill out the below booking form with all your details and return it to us with a $50 deposit.
- If your party is quite a while away and you are still unsure of some of the details please just fill in what you can and we collect the rest of the information closer to the date.
- DEPOSIT PAYMENT – You can pay a deposit through the invoice we send to you. You can also pay via Internet banking, or over the phone with credit card.
- FINAL PAYMENT – Balance of payment can be made prior to the event by the above methods.
- Booking will only be confirmed when booking sheet and deposit is returned so send it back ASAP so you don’t miss out on your particular date.
- Deposit is forfeited if function is cancelled.

You can vary the range of control you have, some guests provide us a list of every song they want played in order and at certain times, some guests just tell us the genre they want and to let the DJ feel the energy of the guests and play music accordingly. The most popular style by our clients is to give the DJ different genres to play throughout the evening and then some songs to be played at certain times for example right after speeches, during a speech, at the cake cutting, for the grand entrance/exit etc.
We require at least 2.5 meters x 2.5m to comfortably do our job.
We do not insist that the DJ is provided a meal, but some food and non-alcoholic beverages would be much appreciated as the DJ is there for longer than your guests.
All bookings and function planning are done through our office prior to the big event with our professional event staff. Once we have allocated a suitable DJ for your party we can then get the DJ to either call you to double check all details and run through any questions you may have.
Yes, this is usually possible and the DJ will have an extension contract available. However, any extension will be at the given DJ’s discretion.
We love an extension request – we see it as the ultimate compliment!
Accepting the venue’s own ‘resident’ DJ, rather than choosing your own, may be the easiest option, but that doesn’t mean it’s the best!
If you do go with the DJ thrown in as part of the “package”, all too often what you receive is more “human jukebox”, and less professional DJ talent!
You won’t get any choice, and you certainly won’t get a specialist in your chosen genre who will work with you to craft a bespoke set to your brief, mixed to perfection. In summary, the music might well seem like an afterthought.
A venue may tell you that they prefer you to use their resident/preferred supplier, but very few will oblige you to. This is nearly unheard of: 9 times out of 10 you DO have the choice who you employ as your DJ.
We can hold a specific DJ for 24 hours without a deposit. Once your deposit is received, your chosen artist will be “off the market”.
If we do not receive your deposit in that timeframe, your preferred DJ will be made available again for other booking (unless we specifically agree otherwise in communications with you).
No, the five hours is play time only and set up and take down of the equipment will be done outside of the five hours and you are not charged for this.
